In Episode 5, we take up the suggestion that Jews lived peacefully and happily under Arab rule for many centuries. Is this true? Were those centuries of peace or persecution?

Part 1 concludes in Episode 6 with a final, important question about Israel’s response to the Hamas attack on October 7 th . Is what we’re seeing genocide or self-defense?

EPISODE 7: WHAT PATH WAS CHOSEN?
Episode 7 is the first of five episodes in which we answer some basic questions about Hamas, just as we did for Israel in Part 1. We start with looking back at what path was chosen by Palestinian Arab leaders more than 100 years ago and how that connects to the situation today.

In Episode 14, we look at what happened next, the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It was a momentous event for all sides and set in motion things that remain among the most significant issues today.

EPISODE 15: WHAT ABOUT THE NAKBA?
The 1948 Arab-Israeli War or Israel’s War of Independence led to what some call the Nakba and others call the Palestinian exodus. In Episode 15, we talk about the refugees of this war, including how they became refugees, and who bears responsibility for their condition.

EPISODE 18: WHO REJECTED PEACE?
In Part 4 of our series, we talk about the many attempts to find peace between Israel and the Palestinians over the years. We examine why they have all failed and what’s really going on. In Episode 18, we review these past peace offers and discuss what we can learn from them.
